Skype for BlackBerry 10 .BAR File Leaked, Working On Z10

For those BlackBerry Z10 owners out there eagerly awaiting Skype, such as myself, there is some good news today – the .BAR file for Skype has been leaked, and is confirmed to be working on the Z10!

From what I’ve gathered, this seems to be the same preview version available to Q10/Dev Alpha C owners on BlackBerry World. I have successfully loaded it up on my Z10, running the OS 10.1.0.1483 leak. However, by all accounts the app should work just fine on phones running OS 10.0.10 or greater. There are a few performance quirks at the moment on my end, but this could be to do with my leaked OS, or possibly something that will be addressed by the time the app exits the preview stage and gets a final release. Others seem to be reporting other bugs here and there as well, so don’t be surprised if the app doesn’t work as smoothly as you might want it to.
