Project IonProject Ion was formally unveiled yesterday by BlackBerry. If you didn’t know, Project Ion is a BlackBerry initiative to power The Internet of Things. Today, Alec Saunders, former Vice President of Developer Relations and ecosystem development, now serving as Vice President of QNX Software Systems Cloud Services, took the stage to demonstrate the potential Project Ion upholds. 

Holding the stage for a mere 6 minutes, Alec Saunders explains just how well powered QNX is around the world and how people don’t realise this. Not only that, he proceeds to show the first prototype of Project Ion and what businesses and enterprises can do with such information to manage and run their business effectively.
