US (EU) to probe complaint against RIM, Nokia, others

A U.S. trade panel has agreed to investigate a complaint that Research in MotionNokia, HTC Corp and LG Electronics infringed patented technology held by FlashPoint Technology.  

Un panel comercial de EE.UU. se ha comprometido a investigar una denuncia de que Research in Motion, Nokia, HTC Corp y LG Electronics tecnología patentada infringido en poder de FlashPoint Technology. 

The U.S. International Trade Commission said on Thursday it would examine FlashPoint’s accusations that the four infringed patents for “electronic imaging devices,” such as digital cameras in cell phones, laptop computers and personal digital assistants. FlashPoint Technology has asked for a ban on imports of the infringing devices.
