Just last week we let you know that Snap2Chat (Snapchat client) had finally found its way to BlackBerry World after a tough time getting accepted. Well you will be happy to know that the app has just been updated to version 1.1.0.1 with a feature all of you that use the app will like, it’s now headless. This means the app can run in the background and doesn’t need an active frame to get notifications of new snaps.

Please remember this update adds in headless support (as well as a few bug fixes) but not the hub integration, that feature is scheduled for a future version. It is also just an update for the paid version of the app since the free lite version doesn’t allow for notifications.

For any of you that may want to upgrade to the paid version Nemory Studios still has the sale price in effect, which makes it only $0.99 instead of the $1.99 it will be soon. You can either purchase Snap2Chat or update your existing version over in BlackBerry World now.
