BlackBerry 10 users and Snapchat users rejoice! You’ll be pleased to know that the first, full native Snapchat client for BlackBerry 10, Snap2Chat is now available to download from BlackBerry World.
Snapchat, whether or not you use it has become a quite popular, established app amongst mobile users, even so much getting attention from the likes of Facebook offering $3billion in cash to buy Snapchat at one point.
What is it? Well, it’s quite simple: You either take a picture or a video (max duration is 10 seconds) and you then send it to your friends that are also on Snapchat. The USP? Once they’ve opened your ‘Snap’, they can only view it for the allocated time that you’ve set on that particular image or video. It’s pretty cool for the most part and it can be quite useful.
Nemory, the developer behind this app had been trying to get this approved by BlackBerry. After some, long consideration, it appears he’s convinced them to allow his app in BlackBerry World.
Give it a go, support the developer and most importantly, this is one less BAR file I will ever need to sideload again!
