QNX Phones Will Make or Break RIM!

A moment ago, I watched a video reviewing an Android Ice Cream Sandwich device. For those who don’t know what that means, it’s a new OS for Android devices that will be released very soon. It’s supposed to bring the Android phones & tablets together to one central user interface, much like the iPad/iPod Touch/iPhone all look & and operate the same. In the race for mobile domination or just mobile sustenance in general, the phones & tablets must be equally powerful or they must project the idea of being worth the purchase when compared to the next option; as with all products. We need to have better phones & apps than the iPhone or Android and our tablet needs to at least be on par with the others…

My issue is that Ice cream Sandwich looks amazing and makes me want to pick up the newest Android to be released along with it. BlackBerry devices are my heart but, I’m blinded by that love. My experience with mobile devices is crippled by my love for BlackBerrys & the Torch 9800 is a very weak crutch. It really makes me want to throw it at a wall times. But, there is much hope for us. These QNX Berrys need to be released to consumers as soon as possible with as little flaws as possible so that, we, as users, can have a phone that’s physically on par with the competition & one that has very powerful & capable software. As long as we have the basic functions that our current Berrys provide on the QNX Berry, it will be worth our money. I’m excited to see such innovation throughout the mobile community with the new Android OS & BB 7 software but, I know that the best is yet to come. I’m not giving up on RIM until they give up on themselves. I will run this sloth of a device into the ground because I have faith in what they’re capable of with this new series of devices that will flood the shelves in 2012.
