This how to will show you how to merge or link contacts on your BlackBerry Z10 & BlackBerry Q10 devices running the BlackBerry 10 OS. It is a very neat feature, takes some minor work and a few steps. To begin the merge process:
Search for any name and if you see a duplicate like below:
Hold and press down on the screen until the side menu appears, you will see the select more icon:
Click on the select more icon:
Now that you clicked on “Select More” select the contacts you would like to merge “link” together and click on the link contacts icon:
After you have select link contacts, you are done. As you can see when I search again for the same user, there is only 1 result.
