Facebook for BlackBerry legacy devices has updated to version 4.2.0.6 in the Beta Zone. BlackBerry has added several improvements to the functionality along with some UI tweaks.

Change log for v4.2.0.6:

  • Right to Left language is fully supported
  • Ability to unlike a page functionality
  • Ability to share a post to user’s own timeline, a friend’s timeline or a group
  • UI improvements in messages quick view (unread messages are easier to distinguish)
  • UI improvements for messages screen (unread messages are easier to distinguish)
  • Unread notifications are automatically marked as read when user exits the application or refreshes the notifications quick view
  • Removed the “Refresh Messages” option from options screen. User will receive messages as long as the push notifications are enabled
  • Improved photo loading time from News Feed
