Another leak featuring the BlackBerry Venice has surfaced, offering a glimpse of the BlackBerry Productivity Suite for Android announced earlier this year.
The leaked GIF, provided by notorious leaker @evleaks, appears to be a demo of the BlackBerry Hub, Contacts, and Calendar apps running on an Android-powered Venice. It is speculated that the phone will come preloaded with these apps to offer an experience that mimics BlackBerry 10.
This GIF suggests that the Hub will include conversations from Facebook, Twitter, BBM, and email, although exactly how they are implemented remains to be seen. The Contacts and Calendar apps are said to be “unified,” but no details are offered regarding what services they will integrate with.
On Friday, @evleaks also provided a list of APK files that he says will come preloaded. In addition to the apps seen in the GIF, the list features 12 more APKs, suggesting that this leak is just a small part of what BlackBerry plans to include. Going off of the file names, it appears that BBM, BBM Meetings, tasks, notes, and help apps, and a custom launcher are all in the cards.
