The BlackBerry Priv Android-powered smartphone will also be available to purchase at Wind Mobile in Canada, the wireless service provider announced. The carrier has not revealed any information regarding its price tag or release date, unfortunately.
The handset’s web page from their official website says, “coming soon” :
The smartphone will begin shipping out on November 6th (as mentioned here and here), therefore we should see it around that time on the network.
The BlackBerry Priv is the first Android-powered smartphone by BlackBerry and it features a physical slide-out keyboard. Under the hood, it has a Snapdragon 808 processor and 3 GB of RAM. Even with 32 GB of internal storage, it can be expanded with a microSD card. The phone’s 5.4-inch display should brighten up your day whenever it turns on and the 18MP rear-facing camera should satisfy your photo-taking needs.
Wind Mobile has an offer where you can trade in your phone and save up to $250 on your new phone (Priv). In addition, the wireless service provider also has a deal where customers can get up to $550 off their phone for subscribing to a monthly plan. For more details, click here.
The phone can be pre-ordered elsewhere for CA$899, so it should give you an idea of how much Wind Mobile might offer it for.
