The BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition is now available to purchase in Hong Kong. Therefore, if you live in Hong Kong and you want to get your hands on the smartphone, there is no need to order the handset online and have it shipped all over the globe to arrive at its destination.

Its retail price tag is HK$5,388 (that’s around $695-$696 US).
The phone can be picked up from :

  • Authorized retailers in Hong Kong (eg. Fortress, Hong Kong Suning and Chung Yuen Electrical Co. Ltd, Broadway Photo Supply Ltd).
  • Operator partners (eg. 3 Hong Kong and SmarTone Mobile Communications Limited).

The BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition runs on the BlackBerry OS 10.3.2 mobile operating system, has a 4.5-inch square touchscreen with a screen resolution of 1,440 x 1,440 pixels and features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC quad-core Krait CPU clocked at 2.26 GHz with 3 GB of RAM. Its 3,450 mAh capacity battery should keep the show going on for a while and 32GB of expandable storage should be sufficient for most users.

Rumors also suggest that the smartphone is also capable of being dual-boot to run both BlackBerry 10 and Android.
