If you’re using BBM on your iOS device, you’ll be pleased to know that an update has been rolled out, bringing much needed improvements and new features to the iOS version of BBM. The version number now sits on 2.3.0.12, giving users a newly designed “Add Contacts” screen and much more!Â
The change-log includes the following, including bug fixes and performance improvements.
A newly designed “Add contacts” screen where you can quickly and easily:
- Add new contacts to BBM by PIN, email, SMS and barcode.
- Review and accept invites from other BBM users
- Find friends using BBM
- Invite address book contacts to download BBM
- Display your barcode and scan barcodes all in one screen
- Bug fixes and performance improvements
It’s good to see BBM being constantly improved to give iOS users a much better messaging experience on their devices. Having only debuted last year in October, the updates have been constant which is encouraging to see.
