Could this be BlackBerry trying to get the device into more consumers hands? It is a possibility. The outright price at Amazon has dropped as well to a cool $449 unlocked in black color to $438 unlocked in white.

So far the BlackBerry Q10 prices are still steady going for $149 on a 2-year agreement, Amazon is although offering something someone similar to Best Buy for the Z10 in selling the AT&T branded device for 1 penny more on a contract, Verizon prices are still up at $99.

A variety of prices from different carriers, overall prices are either too good (FREE) or very affordable.
