Microsoft's World Partner Conference 2011

The BizBlog has just released info surrounding the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC), set to take place in LA from July 10-14. Check below for info.

Have you jumped on a cloud lately? There has been a lot of chatter recently about “the cloud” and what people can expect from this innovative service. Couple that with the launch of Microsoft Office® 365 by Microsoft® and it’s sure to set off another spike of interesting topic matter – one that will no doubt be covered at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC), set to take place in Los Angeles from July 10-14. We’ll likely see a lot of our partners there, as we will be taking position beside Microsoft in our Research In Motion® (RIM®) booth at the Microsoft Office 365 Kiosk in their Exposition Hall.

We will be there representing our BlackBerry® cloud-based service for Office 365 and answering questions from our partners and their customers. We will also be presenting to 200 Cloud Accelerator partners at a pre-day session on Sunday July 10th. If you plan on attending WPC and you received an invitation to this session, don’t miss us – or you can drop by the Office 365 kiosk and we’ll be there!

It’s an exciting time as our integration into Office 365 sets the stage for new and exciting services for partners and customers alike. I’ve been speaking “Cloud” for the past nine years while observing the evolution from the times of ASP models. Moving forward into subscription and pay-as-you-go models for computing services is an amazing trend for businesses, as well as how quickly we can get our information and pass it on. I look forward to both the conference and further developments in cloud trends – come join us at WPC and find out more!
