BlackBerry Classic to launch on December 17th in New York City, red BlackBerry Passport goes on sale this Friday

John Chen today announced that the BlackBerry Classic will launch on December 17th. John Chen also announced the BlackBerry Passport in Red and will be available as a limited edition this coming Friday, Black Friday.

The BlackBerry Classic is BlackBerry’s next device aptly named “Classic, features a QWERTY keyboard including the iconic BlackBerry trackpad. It will run on BlackBerry 10, running the yet unreleased OS 10.3.1.

The event will occur in New York City on December 17th.
