Earlier, RIM announced via Press Release that they were officially going to expand their application ecosystem for the upcoming PlayBook tablet. This means that the PlayBook will be able to support Android based apps and who knows what else. As an Android developer your first question, naturally is, well do I get my Android app to the BlackBerry PlayBook? According to RIM, this is your forumula to follow >>

 

Developers will simply repackage, code sign and submit their BlackBerry Java and Android apps to BlackBerry App World. Once approved, the apps will be distributed through BlackBerry App World, providing a new opportunity for many developers to reach BlackBerry PlayBook users. Users will be able to download both the app players and the BlackBerry Java and Android apps from BlackBerry App World.
