Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better than Focus or Apres, Xan of IHeartMyBB delivers yet again with Element, her latest theme. With a hidden mini dock, hidden weather slot, and custom battery and signal meters, Element is quite simply a beautiful theme. Elegant in it’s design, and flawless in functionality, this theme is all that you need.
Again, Xan has chosen a default background that you may not even change. It’s a beautiful landscape, and I love the look of it. The home screen is one of the most unique that I have seen lately in a theme and it is fabulous. First thing you will notice is the large date on the top left corner. For folks with impaired vision (like yours truly), this is a wonderful feature. I can actually read the date without my glasses…thank-you, Xan! Next thing that you will notice is a large number on the top right. This is your battery meter. Each number will correspond to the % level. For ex 1=10%, 2=20% etc. Very clever, don’t you think?  The green dots on the bottom left represent you signal strength.  Wow. All custom made meters. Very talented…
The semi-transparent banner with overlay gives this a one of a kind look. It holds all your important information including plenty of room for all your notifications, wifi signal, and the clock. The clock is also a good size allowing someone like me with tired old eyes to see it clearly!   The weather slot, which can be hidden (use alt +/-) is right below the date.
The hidden dock holds 6 icons and can be easily accessed with the 0 key and hidden with the space bar. When hidden, it will slide away to the right, as has become a trademark feature in Xan’s themes.  The focus icon is a gray color that highlights the chosen app clearly. I’m loving this theme. It really flows well.
The app screen is a clean black background using the same focus gray color as on the home screen. Highlight color is a slate teal color. I love how the use of different colors on the theme make it different from the regular default blue. You get tired of the same color, and having variety makes it fun to use.
As I said before, Xan has really come into her own with Element. This theme has a minimalist feel that looks great with any wallpaper. It runs smooth, and the entire time I have used it (which is quite a bit), there has been no lag at all. Not only is Element ready for both OS5 and OS6, it supports both landscape and portrait mode on Torch devices. Xan and her themes have become quite popular and you can see the reason why. Her last 3 themes are well developed and thought out and beautiful to see on your screen. Don’t miss out on another gem, and get Element today from the BBE store!
