Earlier today we let you know about all the apps that were mentioned in the weekly App Wednesday news release from BlackBerry. Well if you head over to BlackBerry World you will see that Wikitude Places beta is now available for download.
For any of you that aren’t familiar with what Wikitude Places is all about here’s a quick discription of the app. Wikitude Places is your “third eye” and allows you to see things you wouldn’t normally see. Wikitude is a mobile augmented reality software which displays information about your surroundings in a mobile camera view, including Image Recognition and 3D Modeling.
