We just got a hold of some great footage provided by Salomondrin. He has posted 3 new videos of the new BlackBerry WebKit browser running the acid 3 test comparison. He also compares the older BlackBerry browser next to the iphone and Android Browser. Overall, the vids provide great insight on the new Browser. One of the videos flaunts the new media center, which is just awesome. The title scrolling is enabled and the layout is captivating. The acid 3 browser test is quite responsive running on 3G.  In comparison to the other devices, the BlackBerry holds up well. The iphone 4 scored 185 points, HTC Droid at 151 on 2.1, older BlackBerry browser 1 point. The new WebKit browser reached 208 points out of 300. I’m really liking these new changes that have been made to the BlackBerry platform. There has been concern with the BlackBerry browser and critics believe that it ‘under performs.’ Not anymore! These videos should turn skeptics into BlackBerry believers! See for youself below.
