This morning I went to the Verizon store with a broken BlackBerry Bold 9650 and walked out an hour later with a brand new BlackBerry Bold 9930 for less than $100. According to Asurion, the insurance replacement company used by Verizon, they no longer carry the Bold 9650 and had to replace my broken 9650 with a new 9930. Please keep in mind that it is illegal to fake an insurance claim and you can and will be prosecuted to the fullest. Insurance fraud is a major crime with severe penalties. This post is intended for anyone with a legitimately broken BlackBerry Bold 9650.
