UberTwitter Bought by Postup, Now Called UberMedia

Looking back at history, before the transition to a 9xxx series, I had an 8800 model. In that year, two twitter clients were at war. Ubertwitter, and TwitterBerry. It didn’t take long for TwitterBerry to scrap itself for OpenBeak, leaving Ubertwitter in the main frame. Fast forward to 2011, Ubertwitter was acquired by PostUp this weekend.

UberTwitter CEO, Paul McDonald, isn’t leaving UberMedia according to his quote: “Working closely with Twitter for the past couple of years has made me even more passionate about real time communication, and I look forward to continuing to work closely with Twitter as part of UberMedia.”

Keep in mind you can still download Uber here for BlackBerry at www.ubertwitter.com.
