For those of you in Canada who frequent Cineplex movie theatres, I’m sure you know of the TimePlay app – an app that interacts with activities presented to viewers on the big screen before the movie. Well, luckily for you moviegoers, that app has now been brought over to BlackBerry 10.
The activities presented on-screen usually allow you to win certain prizes, such as free food or drinks. They’re also a great way to make the pre-movie wait times a little less tedious. Now, unfortunately, the TimePlay app does not use native BlackBerry 10 code – it’s an Android port. But from the little that I could test without visiting an actual movie theatre, the app seems to work pretty well regardless.
