If you own a BlackBerry 10 smartphone and use the Pebble or Pebble Time, you most likely already have the Talk2Watch Pro application. The app gets functionality out of the smartwatch and the developer has pushed out an update that squashes bugs and adds some new features.
The update brings the app right up to v3.2 even though what will be shown is 30.0.6.6 via BlackBerry World.
The bug fixes and new features that were added can be found below :
New features and improvements :
- Timeline integration has been implemented for watchapps (you can enable/disable pins and notifications via app locker)
- A new email filter has been added to hide the message body.
- Confirmation dialog has been added when you close the app.
- Improved app store performance has been made with image caching.
- New Javascript implementation supports more applications such as Trip Advisor, Yelp, etc).
Bug fixes :
- Pause button in music control no longer broken after Pebble Time firmware upgrade 3.2.
- It’s now possible again to share JavaScript scripts straight from the file system to Talk2Watch.
Talk2Watch Pro (open in BlackBerry World) can be purchased at BlackBerry World for $4.99 US and those who have already purchased the app are eligible to receive a free update, therefore you should head over to BlackBerry World as soon as possible to upgrade the app. There is a free version of the app available to the public, however, it does not work with the Pebble Time.
