T-Mobile has announced their latest upgrade. They now have HSPA 7.2mbps, similar to 4G speed. Doesn’t stop there! They plan to implement HSPA+ soon which can reach speeds of 42mbps. The current USB modem, the WebConnect Rocket, supports HSPA, but an upcoming revision has been leaked that will be the first T-Mobile device to support HSPA+ speed. The new WebConnect Rocket 2.0 will support PCs & Macs, which is very convenient for multiple users. Embedded, is a MicroSD slot for up to 16GB of additional storage.

There are no plan changes, just the make over. The release date on this one is unknown, we’re hearing when inventory of the current Webconnect Rocket runs out.
