T-Mobile and RIM Introduce the BlackBerry Curve 9315

While waiting for T-Mobile to specify a launch date for BlackBerry 10, T-Mobile and Research In Motion today announced the BlackBerry® Curve 9315, the most affordable BlackBerry smartphone on T-Mobile’s nationwide network. With its dedicated BBM™ key, QWERTY keyboard, preloaded Facebook® and Twitter® apps and Social Feeds 2.0 app, consumers can easily connect to the people and things that matter most to them.

The BlackBerry Curve 9315 comes equipped with core BlackBerry smartphone functionalities, including:

  • Instant messaging made easy – A dedicated BBM key and full QWERTY keyboard makes real-time chat with friends and family much easier.
  • Social networks in real time — Preloaded apps for Facebook and Twitter and the new Social Feeds 2.0 app allow you to update multiple social applications simultaneously, and see feeds/updates from multiple sources in one consolidated view.
  • Wi-Fi connectivity and calling – Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity for voice and data allow users to access the information they need when and where they need it and Wi-Fi calling allows for calls and messages over an available Wi-Fi network.
  • Integrated camera – A 3.2MP camera with LED flash, digital zoom and support for video recording.
  • Built-in FM radio — With an integrated FM radio, listen to your favorite local FM radio stations on the go without using data.

The all new BlackBerry Curve 9315 will be available in an exclusive pre-sale for T-Mobile business customers beginning January 16 and is expected to be available in T-Mobile retail stores, via www.T-Mobile.com, and with select dealers and national retailers beginning January 23, 2013.

Hopefully T-Mobile introduces the BlackBerry 10 device soon!
