If you are one of the many people who need their daily Starbucks fix, you will love this app. On Thursday Starbucks released its “Starbucks Card Mobile App for BlackBerry“. Once you log into the account associated with your Starbucks card or sign up for a new card you will be conveniently purchasing your Caramel Macchiato on the reg from your BlackBerry! Add funds to your virtual SB card with a credit card between $10 and $100 using $5.00 increments. One may also use an automatic reload feature that adds more funds to your card when it reaches a low balance. The app basically creates a bar code on your screen for the cashier to scan to eliminate carrying around a Starbucks gift card. Also included with the application is a store locator. The only draw back to the SB mobile card however is that currently the bar code scan feature to actually pay with the app is in trial mode only and only works with store locations in Seattle and California as well as a few Target stores.  If you are at a store that accepts the virtual payment the application will manufacture a bar code for the person at the counter to scan.
