Sscope for BlackBerry goes social

Cogenta, the developer of the popular Sccope shopping app for BlackBerry , introduced the app’s latest update v3.3, now available on BlackBerry App World consisting of new features that will make shopping a social experience.

Sccope’s developers recognised the need to unite savvy shoppers with the evolving social media where the app’s users while looking for the best prices and making the most of retailer deals, discounts and offers can share their findings with their BBM and Facebook friends. Here are the new features to allow its users a thorough mobile social shopping experience:

  • Sharing and discussing products found on Sccope with BBM friends within Sccope;
  • Sharing product details and user wish lists with BBM and Facebook friends;
  • Sharing Sccope app with BBM friends who are new to the shopping application.

When it comes to making shopping social, Cogenta’s CEO Adrian Hobbs meets the challenge with enthusiasm: “We are very excited about the latest release of Sccope which uses BBM and other popular social networks to create a social shopping experience”. He also adds that: “Sccope is unique in the way it enables shoppers to get real-time feedback from their trusted BBM friends by making the full use of BBM integration: sharing product information, initiating conversations and discussing them all within the App”.
