Buenos Aires, Argentina – BlackBerry Limited (NASDAQ: BBRY; TSX:BB), a world leader in mobile communications, today announced that G4S, a global leader in the security industry, has decided to upgrade to BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 (BES10) as its enterprise mobility management (EMM) solution. The upgrade to BES10 allows G4S, who has more than 4,500 employees in Argentina, to manage its devices in line with its recently implemented bring your own device (BYOD) strategy.

With BES10, G4S will be able to reach new levels of mobile security, flexibility and productivity across its workforce. This solution will enable G4S employees to be more productive and efficient by enhancing communications and improving collaboration within the organization.

“BlackBerry is our main mobile communications provider for our operations outside of our Buenos Aires Headquarters,” said Rafael Acosta, IT Manager at G4S Argentina. “Our dynamic workforce demands real-time mobility, as well as efficiency, in communications. Through BES10, we are looking to ensure that data remains secure by separating users’ corporate data from their personal data. In addition, it will allow our operations to be more mobile and will simplify enterprise mobility management.”

BES10 enables enterprise customers to securely manage applications and content on iOS®, Android™ and BlackBerry devices, allowing for more streamlined communication and collaboration. Businesses such as G4S value the easy access to information and the ability to deploy key applications to help increase productivity, while delivering the system security they require.

“BlackBerry is the only company that can meet organizations’ mobility requirements, whether it’s multi-platform BYOD or environments that require the most secure corporate-only policies,” said Joao Stricker, Regional Director for the Southern Cone and Brazil, at BlackBerry.  “By helping G4S facilitate a BYOD platform, we’re able to ensure they have the most secure enterprise mobility solution, the easiest integration with existing IT Systems as well as great variety of enterprise applications.”
