SDK SkypeKit Beta Program Now Available

I recently did a post over a Skype app coming to a BlackBerry PlayBook, well I have great news for all you developers. The Skype DevBlog has recently announced the introduction of the availability of their new software development kit (SDK) called SkypeKit. This SkypeKit will take Skype into new directions by empowering consumer electronic and desktop software innovators to embed Skype into their products. The need for Skype to produce revenue has been Microsoft’s main concern since their recent acquired ownership of the Swedish company. They believe that every connected device can become a communications device, with the addition of SkypeKit. Likewise, desktop applications everywhere can now include Skype.
