RIM States Purported Class Action Lawsuit is Without Merit

In the beginning of the week it was reported RIM was going to be under investigation for allegedly falsifying documents that may be in violation of federal securities laws involving statements made between December 16, 2010 and April 28, 2011. RIM has answered back via Press Release and stated that they believe that the allegations are without merit. RIM is set to defend against a purported class action lawsuit filed against the Company and certain of its officers in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Let’s get ready to rumble!
