Research In Motion (RIM) Chief Executive Officer Thorsten Heins and other RIM senior executives recently visited Indonesia, the Philippines, and Australia to meet with local carriers, key business partners, and media to drum up excitement for the launch of BlackBerry 10.

BlackBerry smartphones continue to be highly popular and in demand in Asia Pacific countries, with the region contributing significantly to RIM’s over 80 million subscribers and over 60 million BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) users worldwide.
