Haven is a theme that begins and ends with simplicity, as most of Pooter’s themes do. And it’s also the quality that keeps me returning to his themes. Haven is a keeper and after you see some of the ways it works for you; it will earn a spot in your theme rotation as well. Haven is characterized by a clean home screen with the minimal in indicators and meters, and OCD slot and nothing else.
The design is simple and yet unobtrusive. Notifications on the top and battery and meters on the bottom. Date and time in the center at the bottom; a place where I personally LOVE to see this (and not many themes have it there, believe me!) The biggest draw on the home screen is the peel back of the wallpaper to reveal your OCD slot. In this case, paid BerryWeather (purchased separately) resides in the slot. Notice the OCD text is vertical on the home screen.
The icons in the theme are custom and they are set on a pure black background. The highlight color is a darker teal green on a transparent menu.
There are transitions throughout the theme and I personally love transitions. I like the slight and unexpected movement of one screen to the next: the dissolve, the fade, the flip. It adds a bit of life to any theme. Haven is a refuge from those themes that clutter your home screen and add needless docks, extra icons and meters. Haven is clean and simple, and a theme you must have to showcase your wllpaper. Escape the ordinary: find your Haven.
