New RateTiger Mobile for Channel Management

RateTiger, by eRevMax, has launched the BlackBerry version of its channel management smartphone application. RTSuite, RateTiger’s premium channel management product is now available for the BlackBerry to give hoteliers the ability to manage rates and availability when they don’t have access to a computer. The BlackBerry application has been developed as a complimentary addition to the iPhone App launched early in 2010.

“BlackBerry has always been a smart business phone, so developing an app tailored for it was a logical step for us. We believe this business tool will help our hoteliers to further improve channel management efficiencies,” said Keith Povah, Division President, RTSuite, eRevMax. ”Hoteliers are looking for ways to keep their rates dynamic and optimize revenue at the very last minute. They can now update multiple online booking websites with the ultimate mobile channel manager.”

— Application Features —
* View current inventory allocation and rates on multiple websites
* Update room type selection from availability option
* Manage room availability across multiple websites
* Change room rates and distribute to booking channels
* Identify which travel channels to update
* Make real time updates with just a click on your BlackBerry

The RTSuite BlackBerry App is available free of charge to RateTiger customers, helping to turn their mobile handsets into an intelligent channel manager tool. Although eRevMax’s web-based tools can already be used on smartphones, the company does not believe that websites designed for PC browsers are optimal on those devices. The new App will therefore provide an access point optimized and tailored for BlackBerry usage.
