This morning the guys at QNX shared with us via Twitter, two videos showing us the importance QNX software systems plays in Space shuttle flights. Partnered with NASA, is a company called NEPTEC who depends highly on QNX. The reports states
Endaevour is equipped with the QNX-powered LCS camera, a high-precision 3D scanner that can detect the tiniest fractures in the shuttle’s heat shield, even if they’re only a few millimeters in size.
In my opinion, one of the best aspects QNX brings to any table is it’s long standing commitment pointed out in the video. Nice job by RIM on the QNX acquisition, now we just need that QNX-powered SuperPhone and we’ll all be happy. Right?
