Vibrance is a theme by WJD Designs that adds a touch of bright green color to your BlackBerry, and these days; who doesn’t LOVE me some green? The theme is smooth and minimal and has a hidden dock and OCD slot to boot. I also love that it uses transitions.
The first unusual item you notice on the home screen is the gray bar at the bottom of the screen. This controls your icon dock. Scroll up and the bars turn bright green. Scroll right and the bars show your icons; in groups of 6. So you are able to scroll through 18 icons on your home screen. That’s a full service theme without having to leave the home screen!
You will rarely see the apps screen as all your icons are available from the scrolling dock. The black background is becoming more the norm for themes as it is a neutral background that makes it easy to see your icons and also it does not clash with whatever wallpaper you have chosen. The highlights are a bright lime green and that also makes it easy to see your navigation.
The home screen also slots the weather icon front and center, below the notification bar. You can also manage your connections with the signal meter icon in the upper banner. Choose any icon and you will see the transitions. I love transitions. These are fast and smooth. No lag and no waiting.
This minimalist theme really gives you the ability to access everything you need from your home screen while allowing your wallpaper to shine through. The icons are custom and the glassy look of the menus adds to the “vibrance” on your berry.
