Just over a month ago now Poynt for BlackBerry users received an update from version 1.8.1 to 1.8.3. This update back in October gave users some added features such as being able to search offers by keyword or location, as well as being able to opt out of the recently released Child Search feature.
However, this most recent update is somewhat of a puzzle. The “change log” released with this update states a VERY descriptive “Bug Fixes”…
After perusing through the app for the past day, I have yet to find any added features, so my assumption is that everything within this update is behind the scenes. There were a select few users who were experiencing some force closing errors on previous releases, so this update could possibly address those.
Either way Poynt is an excellent app for every BlackBerry user. From the casual college kids searching for the closest bar, to the power business users looking for a place to take a client, this feature rich app does it all.
