Opera Mini 8 for BlackBerry legacy devices now includes private browsing, night modes and more

gfx1_night-modeOpera Mini 8 has just been released for BlackBerry legacy devices, it has been a while since we’ve seen an update from Opera Mini but this seems to be the biggest one yet with private browsing, night mode and a couple other features added.

For those unfamiliar with Opera Mini, Opera Mini is a web browser for mobile devices offering fast speed, Opera Mini uses Opera’s servers to compress webpages so they load faster. You also save money on data charges, since it uses as little as a tenth of the data of normal browsers.

Features added:

Private browsing
Select private browsing if you want to be private.

Accessing tabs on phones with keypads Tab access has also improved for phones with keypads. Try it out: push the arrow up button to get a new tab. Here are other shortcuts that you can use in Opera Mini:
