It’s official, the once leaked BlackBerry OS 5.0.0.656 for the 9700 has been confirmed by TurkCell. The official OS is already up for download through their website. Before installing the new OS to your BlackBerry Bold 9700, it is important that you backup all of your data to prevent any informtation from getting lost. Another quick tip when installing the official OS; if TurkCell is not your carrier, be sure to delete the vendor.xml file. The operating system is the platform of all programs, so installing the latest official release should enhance device performance.
