MicroMax announced last week that BBM will come pre-loaded on their devices via a confirmation from its CEO Deepak Mehrotra. Seems like MicroMax has already started promoting BBM coming to the platform in many ways, including the video ad shown below.
Deepak Mehrotra, CEO, Micromax said, “Bringing one of the most popular mobile messaging services with BBM on our smartphones is yet another effort to expand our bouquet of messaging services for our consumers to connect and communicate seamlessly with their loved ones.”
Sunil Lalvani, Managing Director for India at BlackBerry commented on the rollout, “We are delighted to work with Micromax to bring BBM to their customers directly on Canvas smartphones across India.”
