There is a new BlackBerry theme around town and you’d be smart to install it on your phone. Do it now and you will have a melodious summer: just you -n- your berry, right in tune. How does Raypho think of all these things? He is up late at night, into the wee hours of the morning, testing and tinkering, no doubt! Here he has created a theme that uses a notification banner and single-digit numbers for battery and signal at the top of the screen. Have a lighter wallpaper? Use Alt +/- to place a transparency behind the info. Same goes for the clock at the bottom center. Use Alt ( / Alt ) to turn on/off the transparency behind the clock.
Notice the OCD slot. I have chosen to use BerryWeather on my home screen here. The second slot is available on the right side of the clock, pictured here.
You may have BOTH slots active. Activate the OCD slots with Alt 1 and Alt 2. I have just chosen to show one at a time. Now, if you want to see your icon dock, use Alt 3. The dock gives you three text icons: BBM, Broswer and SMS/MMS. And then underneath are 5 icons, which are user customizable. Click Alt 4 and you will get the Today Agenda. Click Alt 5 and dismiss all the docks and OCD icons. You DO know how to count, right? Alt 1-5 will do it all for you, so don’t fret if you forget! Hum along with me and Tempo…
The apps screen and calling screen are a pretty aqua, which is a delightful change from the somber black that plagues a lot of themes these days. Tempo is a fanciful tune, sung in the key of smooth. You have a hide able dock, 2 hide able OCD slots, wide-open wallpaper, easily readable fonts and transparent banners you may turn on and off at will. Raypho has not slept dreaming up this one.
