Let RIM Breath

I am aware that my last post was pretty much a rant about how bad RIM has been. I want to express a since of optimism in this one. Everyone is looking forward to RIM picking up the slack in the near future but it seems that everything that can go wrong for them, is going wrong. Don’t get weary though, stay faithful to the good ol BlackBerry and you’ll see an increase soon. Every platform has its problems and RIM may have more than they should but they need some time to get the kinks worked out…

I’d like to dedicate this post to RIM and tell them that BBE is behind them every step of the way. We’ve seen some leaked images of the Bold 9900 & they are very insightful. The Bold Touch looks like a very promising device. I’m sure many of you are looking forward to purchasing a brand new BlackBerry and within a few more months, we should be seeing the BB of all BBs.

Too many people, myself included, are bashing RIM and telling the world that RIM is falling but the truth could show up very soon. A new platform, new devices and new ideas are springing up more than ever. The number of users may be shrinking but the platform is growing. I speak on the “+” and “-” because there’s always two sides to a story. Sure, I’ve had two PlayBooks and my Torch sucks lollipops but, imagine how many iPads were returned @ initial launch. Think of how many Android devices and/or tablets have been returned due to terrible battery life or poor connectivity. RIM may have been dealt a bad hand but they still know how to play the game. All they need is a few of us faithful users to boast and brag about how awesome the new devices are, once they’re released and I’m sure they’ll hold up their end of the bargain by bringing us top tier software, hardware and device performance. I hope we see some native cloud services soon. Have you been feeling on edge about RIM? Or do you have faith in them?
