The Latin America and Caribbean distributor Intcomex has announced that it has added BlackBerry to its vendor portfolio. Intcomex will now host BlackBerry products to its channel partners.  According to the report, Intcomex will offer RIM software solutions as well as services designed to optimize the performance of devices in the SMB segment, corporations and government.

Mike Shalom, CEO and president at Intcomex, said: “With this new alliance, we are strengthening and expanding our product portfolio to our existing customers, and will be able to access new customers with an unequalled line of products; complemented with our advanced logistics, financing, and demand generation, among other strengths, this will allow us to reach a much larger audience for Blackberry products in the Latin American market.”

“We live in a world where we see an increasing convergence of technology and mobile telecommunications. This alliance will give Intcomex customers the opportunity to choose from the wide portfolio of market-leading Blackberry products,” said Miljan Milan, VP of the mobile division at Intcomex.
