Another image courtesy of Evan Blass (@evleaks) has appeared and this time it’s the BlackBerry Venice, which gives us a closer look of what we could expect from BlackBerry next.
The above image shows an apparent Android OS with all its GAPPS glory including the Play Store, Chrome and more. There is also front facing speakers and a possible USB-C charging port. The BlackBerry Venice could also feature quite an impressive spec sheet which includes a 5.4” 1440 x 2560 qHD curved screen. The Venice is also a slider smartphone featuring a full QWERTY keyboard.
Rumored specs:
- 5.4-inch Quad-HD display
- 18 MP rear-camera
- 5 MP front-camera
- 1.8 GHz Hexa-core (Snapdragon 808 chipset) 64-bit
- 3 GB RAM
Again, this is all but confirmed by BlackBerry themselves, but @evleaks is a reputable source and where there’s smoke, there’s usually fire. Incase you missed it earlier on, a render of the BlackBerry Passport running Android was also leaked too.
What do you guys think of this device? Is this a sure winner? Let us know in the comments below!
