So as i’m newsing this morning I stumble across a new Samsung smartphone set to release which resembles the BlackBerry Bold form factor.  Not only does the Android powered device resemble a BlackBerry, it has jumped ahead and will rock a 2.8-inch touchscreen. So RIM, if Samsung can run a basic Android OS which allows for touch optimization on top of a QWERTY kb, there is no reason you cannot. The race is only going to get tougher and the competition is only going to get better. Over recent months, many “loyal” BlackBerry users have been jumping ship, and not to Apple but Android.  You won’t lose me as I maximize the efficiency on my device without the urge to have a touchscreen.
