Holzer Holzer & Fistel, LLC Announces Investigation Into Research In Motion Limited

Not so great news to start off the 5-day work week – Holzer, Holzer, and Fistel have announced an investigation into Canadian owned and operated Research in Motion. The investigation will focus on falsifying documents that may border on violations of federal securities laws and involve statements made between December 16, 2010 and April 28, 2011.

The investigation will provide insight into business, operations, and prospects within Research in Motion within that time frame. RIM is being potentially held accountable for acknowledging they were aware of struggles surrounding an aging product line, but failed to communicate that struggle to their share holders.

If you recall back in March – Holzer, Holzer, and Fistel, LLC was the law firm involved in an investigation of Palm regarding its acquisition by HP back in June of 2010.

This is not surprising as RIMM has not been performing well as prices per share continue to plummet amidst a positive week for the company.

If you purchased RIM common between December 16, 2010 and April 28, 2011, inclusive and have questions concerning your legal rights, you are encouraged to contact Holzer Holzer & Fistel, LLC and its attorneys Michael I. Fistel Jr., Esq. or Marshall P. Dees, Esq. via email at mfistel@holzerlaw.com, ormdees@holzerlaw.com, or via toll-free telephone at (888) 508-6832.
