Parker Brothers released its iconic business and property board game, Monopoly, on 5 Nov 1935 at the height of the United States’ Great Depression. The maker is releasing two 75th anniversary editions, one for Canada and another for Scotland.
HistoryToday describes Monopoly as the best-selling board game in the world, with some 250 million of the games sold since the game was released. It is sold in 103 countries and produced in 37 languages including Croatian.
