In an attempt to make bolster app purchases, Globe Telecom has announced that in the coming quarter it will feature integrated carrier billing to its customers. So if you’re a BlackBerry user, you will now have an easier way to pay for apps from the App World.
The way it works is that owners can be charged to the subscriber’s postpaid account or prepaid load credits.
“Integrated billing will make it easier than ever for our subscribers to purchase apps for their BlackBerry smartphones,” said Peter Bithos, senior advisor for consumer business at Globe, in the report. “Through the secure billing system interface, we are able to provide our subscribers a convenient and worry-free way to purchase premium content on BlackBerry App World without the need for a credit card or direct cash payments.”
Another great thing abut carrier billing is that billing payment methods will limit the amount of mobile application interruptions, maximizing the app and end user experience.
