Could we be seeing former BlackBerry Co-CEO Mike Lazaridis make a bid for BlackBerry? Seems like there have been talks according to the WSJ that the former Co-CEO has been in contact with private-equity firms about a possible joint bid for the company.

Mike Lazaridis ran the company during its glory days as well as their downfall, apparently he still sees some potential, these reports however have not been confirmed or denied by Mike himself. Mr. Lazaridis stepped down earlier this year and co-founded venture fund Quantum Valley Investments with fellow BlackBerry co-founder Doug Fregin.

Would you like to see Mike Lazaridis make a bid for the company? He now joins potential bidder Prem Watsa as those considered highly interested in making a valid bid.
