Big win for BlackBerry as Ford has reportedly decided to ditch their in-car Ford SYNC technologies partnership with Microsoft and begin using BlackBerry’s QNX technology on future automobile units from here on out. According to a report from Bloomberg one of the main reasons for this transition is that QNX is “less expensive” than licensing Microsoft’s in-car technologies.
