My Blackberry has come to life with HeartBeat by Walker Themes!
When I first saw the teaser screen shot of this theme, I knew this one was a theme I had to have. What grabbed my attention was how unique and different this looked, not to mention the colors!
Here is a shot of the home screen when you first install it:
The home screen is simply ingenious. On the top left you have a one of a kind clock with 2 color fonts that can also be used as a hotspotfor the clock. Focus on the clock and you have a pulsing lifeline appear! Now how awesome is that? On the top right you have a custom circular battery and signal meter (which is also clickable). There is a hidden dock, which when shown, has one of a kind custom text icons that go beautifully with the graphics and feel of the theme. Did I mention that when you focus on the icons on the dock, they pulse, giving your device that heartbeat, breathing effect? Simply stunning. It’s one of my favorite features. Also present is the ever popular OCD slot for your weather, or any other favorite app on the top middle of the screen. Not enough? Walker has also included a hidden today for those that need and like this feature. All you need to do is focus on the app icon on the home screen dock that you want the today to show up for, and your messages will be displayed in a crisp blue highlight bar!…Really, Walker has put a lot of thought into this theme to please all tastes.
I love to show of my wp’s, and this one delivers beautifully. The cool thing is that you can choose to show dock only, dock and ocd slot, or none at all for a clean view of the home screen. Clicking the 3 dot triangle at the bottom allows you to toggle what you want shown.
Clicking once will bring up both dock and top ocd slot. Click it again, and the dock disappears. Hit esc and the ocd slot hides. It’s that simple!
The lifeline graphics and beautiful blue colors transition to the app screen and though for some the text icons might take getting used to, I like the fact that they are different. So many themes have the same icons, and these are a refreshing change. The menus are black with blue highlights, which is a great color combination for seeing and reading the text.
Initially I thought that only the ladies will like this, but really, it goes well with most any wallpaper, and I know the guys will love this one as well. This is a theme that fits all styles and tastes and really looks awesome with any background!
HeartBeat is a gorgeous theme with a lot of creativity. Walker has really worked hard and put a lot of thought into this one. It is clean, stylish, runs fast and smooth, and is very functional which is important to me, and I believe to all BB users out there. This is one theme I find that I keep coming back to, I just love it. Get this folks! Add some HeartBeat pulse to your BB and feel your device breath! You won’t be disappointed!
